ISLAMABAD (Online) - Actions against agents, elements, involved in nefarious act of human trafficking, including Afghan nationals to foreign destinations, especially to UK has begun.

 

One agent from Peshawar has already been arrested, while orders have also been issued for arrest of any FIA and PIA officials found involved in the issue.

 

The action has been initiated after complaints from UK, while in one such action carried out on 02 Feb five Afghan nationals from PK 785.were arrested over fake Pakistani documents.

 

During through investigations it was discovered that two agents Akram ullah and Fayyaz Khan of Hayatabad had charged each of these passengers $ 22000 for providing them with passports and British visas.

 

Director FIA Islamabad zone, Muhammad Sajjad Haider had strong suspicions about possible involvement of FIA and PIA officials of airport, specifically counter staff, FC Mumtaz Akbar and immigration checker ASI Jaleel Abbas, who have been suspended, while shift incharge inspector Muhammad Tauqeer has been issued a show-cause notice.
