Summary Farooq Sattar says consultation with coalition partners on caretaker setup has no legal status.
KARACHI (Online) - Senior MQM leader Dr Farooq Sattar has said that consultation with coalition partners for the installation of a caretaker government is not a legal or constitutional requirement.
Speaking to media at Karachi Airport on Saturday, Dr Sattar said change will come through votes only. No other method can bring change in the country, said MQM leader.
“We want good relations with all political parties. Our party has finalised the names for caretaker setup.”
These names, he said, will be made public at a proper time.
