QUETTA (Dunya News) – Shutter-down strike is being observed in Quetta on the call of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) to protest against the ‘targeted operation’ being carried out by the security forces in the city.
The strike call was given on Friday after the ASWJ claimed that security forces killed two of its members during an alleged shootout.
On the occasion, public transport and business activities remained suspended.
Earlier on Tuesday, the prime minister issued an order to carry out a targeted operation against the terrorists in Quetta following a bombing that killed at least 90 people.
