LAHORE (APP) - Scattered rain with snowfall over the mountain areas is expected in Upper Punjab and federal capital during next 24 hours while showers are also expected at isolated places.
An official of metrological department said a westerly wave is affecting most parts of the country and likely to persist during next 24 hours.
Intermittent rain in Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Peshawar and snowfall in mountainous areas of Abbottabad and Galyat has increased chill in weather.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is also expected at scattered places of the province during next 12 to 18 hours while in Sindh mostly partly cloudy weather expected with chance of rain at isolated places. Met office further reported that cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the province from Saturday.
In Balochistan, scattered rain is expected in Northeast Balochistan while cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the province from Saturday.
