Summary Governors rule was imposed in the province in January.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Law Minister Farooq Naek said that governor rule in Balochistan will be revoked and the provincial government will be restored before March 14.
Addressing the media, the law minister added that all measures to revoke governor rule will be done in accordance with the constitution. “The restoration of the provincial government is required for the setup of the caretaker government. The new chief minister will be elected by the provincial assembly,” Naek said.
Governors rule was imposed in the province in January following brutal terrorist attacks against the Hazara community and the subsequent protests and sit-ins.
