Summary ECP Secretary Ishtiak Ahmad Khan says there is a need to bring changes in the nomination papers.
A meeting of the Election Commission of Pakistan chaired by Chief Election Commissioner Fakhruddin G Ibrahim was held in Islamabad on Wednesday to discuss the procedure relating to the scrutiny of nomination papers of the contesting candidates.
Governor State Bank of Pakistan‚ Chairman FBR and officials of National Accountability Bureau attended the meeting.
Later talking to the media persons‚ Secretary Election Commission Ishtiaq Ahmad said there is a need to bring changes in the nomination papers.
Summary in this regard will soon be sent to the law ministry.
He said during the meeting today‚ the State Bank of Pakistan and the FBR assured all out cooperation in the electoral process.
