ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Supreme Court Wednesday issued orders for making public the report evolved by a 3-member commission led by Justice Syed Jamshed Ali.
A 3-member bench of SC, presided over by the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry took up the case for hearing Wednesday.
Several prominent figures, including politicians, will stand exposed and face disqualification when the report is made public.
Khawaja Siddiqui appeared in the court and told Iqbal Haider counsel for State Bank of Pakistan has expired and no new counsel has been nominated by the bank in this case, therefore, more time should be allowed.
The court, however, directed to open all the boxes and present the inquiry report before it.
The CJP later recording his orders said the report has been made public and all the parties can obtain its copy and give their replies in this respect.
The court also issued notices to the parties concerned and adjourned the hearing of the case for three weeks.
