Seven more fall prey to Karachi violence

Summary Fear gripped most parts of the city after scattered incidents of violence.

 

KARACHI: At least seven people were killed in different firing incidents in Karachi.

 

According to police, a body each was found at Zaman Town, Korangi and Malir River and two bodies at Kharadar, who were kidnapped, murdered and thrown away.

 

A teen girl’s body was found floating in the sea near Neti Jetty. Armed persons barging into a house at Surjani Town opened fire that killed a young man, 18, while unidentified persons gunned down a young man at Banaras. Dead body of a man, stuffed in gunny bag was also recovered from Maripur area.

 

Some unidentified persons also opened fire in Majeed Colony area of Landhi and wounded a man.

 

Armed persons torched three buses including one wagon near Ancholi Society, at Jinnah Square, Malir and Jahangirabad areas.
