LAHORE (Dunya News) – A 5-member bench of Lahore High Court heard a case regarding President Asif Ali Zardari’s dual office.

 

The counsel of the federation Advocate Waseem Sajjad said that the petition against the president is not entertainable according to the constitution. He said no political party has filed this case and the intentions of the person who has filed it‚ are not good. He said that the president s office is very respectable.

 

Waseem Sajjad said that the president is performing his duties according to the oath of the office.

 

Justice Umar Ata Bandial remarked that if the President by his action provides benefits to one political party over another, it will be in violation of the court s verdict.
