ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Minajul Quran chief Doctor Tahirul Qadri has said the judges of Supreme Court did not hear a word of his petition and Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry had already made up his mind to dismiss the petition.
Talking to media persons after the Supreme Court decisions Dr Qadri said during the three days of hearing, the judges did not let him read a single word of his petition and kept attacking his dual nationality.
Lashing out at Chief Justice, he said CJP, as PCO judge, had himself taken two oaths, adding there was no difference between pledging loyalty to President Musharraf and Queen Elizabeth.
He further said Supreme Court had insulted the millions of oversees Pakistani who, he said, were the backbone of Pakistan’s economy.
Meanwhile talking to Dunya News, the political analysts have said Dr Tahirul Qadri was now out to disturb the institution of judiciary after failing in his attempt to disrupt the democratic system.
