ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Supreme Court on Tuesday said that Tahirul Qadri s petition is not maintainable under Article 184 of the Constitution.
A three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry resumed hearing of Tahirul Qadri’s petition for reconstitution of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
During case proceeding, the Chief Justice Iftikhar advised Tahirul Qadri to contact any other forum for his case, adding that the court does not have the authority to hear quo warranto writ.
Earlier today, Pakistan Awami Tehreek founder Dr. Tahirul Qadri submitted a written reply regarding his dual-nationality in the Supreme Court.
The case hearing has been adjourned till tomorrow (Wednesday).
