Summary Eight-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan resumed hearing of Memo case today.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Supreme Court on Tuesday ordered the authorities to provide full security to Hussain Haqqani on his arrival in Pakistan.
During the hearing, the bench gave more time to Interior Secretary to ensure security arrangements for Hussain Haqqani.
The court ordered the authorities concerned to finalise a security plan during Haqqani’s stay and till his return.
Later, the hearing was adjourned till March 11.
The lawyer of the former ambassador, Asma Jahangir, had told Supreme Court that Hussain Haqqani’s life is in danger in the country and that’s why he cannot attend the case proceedings.
