Summary Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has strongly criticised Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri for opposing the ECP.
ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali on Friday lashed out at Imran Khan and Dr. Tahirul Qadri for voicing their opposition against the constitutionally-appointed Chief Election Commissioner.
Talking to media outside the Parliament House, Nisar said General Pervez Musharraf was acceptable to both Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri.
Qadri’s statements are now being liked by the PML-Q leaders, he said, asking whether they were sleeping when the bill on the restructuring of the ECP was moved in the house.
He said that PML-N would not allow tabling of a controversial bill at the eleventh hour.
“Rulers want to hijack the name of Quaid-e-Azam. Nothing has been spared in this country,” he said. The rulers, he added, want to name Quaid-e-Azam Hospital after Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
