ISLAMABAD: The federal government has sought the help of Punjab forensic over the mysterious death of NAB officer Kamran Faisal, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.

The federation’s letter received by the Science Agency of Punjab’s forensic laboratory stated that they need the assistance into the investigation of Kamran’s death.

On the other hand, NAB has decided to form its own team if the investigation was not carried out by judicial commission. The sources said that the officers had decided to reject the report of police and commission if transparent inquiry wasn’t held.

Meanwhile, several questions have been raised against the board that carried out the post-mortem of Kamran Faisal. It is learnt that the board head, Dr I.U. Baig had no prior experience of post-mortem while not even a single doctor of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) was included in the board.

The father and colleagues of Kamran Faisal have also expressed dissatisfaction over the commission formed under the supervision of Justice Javed Iqbal. They urged the chief justice to take suo motu action.
