Summary The NAB officers demanded to carry out the inquiry into Kamran's death under SC’s sitting judge.
ISLAMABAD: The investigation officers of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) have decided to appear in the Supreme Court during the hearing of Rental Power Plant case today, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.
According to NAB sources, the officers are under constant pressure and trepidation following the mysterious death of their colleague Kamran Faisal while no steps have been taken to ensure their security.
The officers had demanded to carry out the investigation under the supervision of SC’s sitting judge while urged to sack all contractual NAB officers.
The officers lamented that security cannot be ensured as long as officers were being appointed on contracts, adding that these contractual employees have an influence over the investigation of important cases.
