Summary Threaten to stage sit-in in front of Parliament House if gas supply is not restored in 2 days.

 

FAISALABAD: The decision was taken in a meeting of various organizations of industrialists, with Chairman Pakistan Association of Exporters Asghar Ali in the chair.


It was decided in the meeting that protest rallies would be held if the gas supply was not restored within two days.


It was also decided that factories would be start production on January 22, and government would be responsible if the supply system jams as a result.


In the second phase of protest sit-ins would be staged in front of Governor’s House Lahore and Parliament House Islamabad, the owners, the owners said.


According to the factory owners, suspension of gas supply had rendered thousands of factory workers jobless and incurred financial loss worth billions.
