PESHAWAR: A bizarre situation was created at Governor s House on Sunday when Masood Kausar fell unconscious during his speech.
According to details, in a function of sports federation at his official residence, the governor of Khyber Pakhtunkha came on podium for speech and fell down when he just started his address.
The protocol officer rushed to hold the governor, Masood Kausar was later shifted to Combined Military Hospital in unconscious condition.
Medical officials said that sugar level and blood pressure of the governor was dropped which resulted in unconsciousness.
Doctors said that Masood Kausar was feeling better and has been discharged after necessary treatment.
Earlier, former Chief Minister of Balochistan Aslam Raisani had also faced same situation when he fell down during news conference in Quetta some time ago.
