Summary Motorway and Allama Iqbal International Airport have been closed due to dense fog.
LAHORE: Allama Iqbal International Airport has been closed for all national and international flights due to dense fog. Due to the fog many flights have been cancelled or diverted to Karachi.
Motorway has also been closed as visibility was down to zero due to dense fog. The Motorway police have appealed the drivers to use fog lights and drive at very slow speed.
In a statement the police said that the motorway had been closed from Babu Sabu Interchange (Lahore) to Pindi Bhattian Interchange (Faisalabad) due to thick fog. They said that the visibility was zero in different areas.
The Motorway Police said that the highway would remain closed for the traffic until the visibility improved.
On the other hand, trains will reach Lahore with a delay of hours.
