KARACHI: A delegation of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Minority Wing led by Ameer JI Karachi Muhammad Hussain Mahenti visited different churches and presented flower bouquet to Christian religious leaders.
During the visit, the JI delegation met with the Bishop of Church of Pakistan, Sadiq Daniel, Arch Bishop of Catholic Church Bishop Joseph Quades and Bishop of Philadelphia Panti Castle, Samuel George and present flower bouquets and gave Christmas greetings.
Speaking on the occasion, Mahenti said the JI always respects the Christian Community and shares their events, as they can share the events of Muslims.
He further said the religion Islam teaches us the lesson of love and affection.
“Inter-faith religious harmony is need of the hour, but unfortunately international powers and their allies through a planned conspiracy are creating misunderstanding among the people of different religions”, Mahenti added.
He further added the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Hazrat Essa spread the lesson of love, unity and brotherhood.
