LHR: CNG stations reopen after 72-hour closure

Summary CNG stations in Lahore, Multan, Sahiwal and Sheikhupura have been reopened after 72-hour closure.

 

LAHORE: According to SNGPL, CNG station of Lahore, Multan, Sahiwal, Sheikhupura regions have been reopened. CNG stations in these cities were closed on Monday 6am for 72 hours and reopened on Thursday 6am.

 

On the other hand, most of the CNG stations remained close due to strike. Long queues of vehicles have been witnessed at few of the operational filling stations.

 

Shortage of CNG has disturbed the routine life of people from all social segments and resulted into loss of billion of rupees to the already deteriorating economy of the country.

 

The citizens faced immense difficulties to access their destinations and workplaces. The commuters, mostly on way to work, faced extreme difficulties in reaching their destinations.
