NOWSHERA: At least eleven people including five security personnel got injured in a hand grenade blast outside engineering corps office in Risalpur, Dunya News reported.

 

According to sources, two attackers riding on a motorcycle hurled a hand grenade outside PAF s engineering corps office on Mardan Road and fled from the scene.

 

Security forces have cordoned off the area to trace the attackers.

 

Risalpur, a town of around 20,000 people, is home to the Pakistan Air Force Academy, the Military College of Engineering, the Pakistan Army Engineers Centre and the Military Engineering Services School.

 

Nowshera, a city heavily dominated by military establishments, is just seven kilometres away and has been the target of militants in recent years.
