ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party on Thursday requested Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to deploy army during the coming general elections.
The ruling party has also lodged complaint about alleged rigging in the by-polls with the Election Commission.
PPP leaders called on the ECP officials led by Manzoor Wattoo in Islamabad.
The PPP leaders expressed their reservations over the law and order situation during the recently held by-elections in the country. They also requested the ECP to deploy army during the polls. They also sought permission to provide transport to the voters.
