Summary Some parts of Karachi received first winter rain in the early hours of Thursday.
The first winter rain in Karachi on Thursday morning provided relief from the dry chilly weather. Light rain was reported from Nazimabad, North Karachi, Buffer Zone, Airport, Gulistan Jauhar, Gulshan Iqbal, Shahrah-e-Faisal, Nursery, Guru Mandir, Gulshan Maymar and Malir.
Some parts of the city also received rain with thunderstorm. The rain also created some problems for the residents as they faced electricity shutdown with the start of the rain.
