CHARSADDA: At least three people were injured in an explosion near the venue of the rally arranged by the Awami National Party (ANP) in Charsadda, Dunya News reported on Monday.
The blast occurred in the parking lot of the venue while the rescue team shifted the injured to the nearby hospital.
Security was tightened in the area soon after the incident.
Condemning the blast, ANP leader Zahid Khan said that such attacks cannot frighten his party, adding that the rally will still be held in the same area.
