KARACHI: Federal Minister for Information Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto united everyone through the charter of democracy by forgetting mutual acrimony and taught to eliminate hate.
Speaking at a seminar arranged on the memory of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto here at a hotel on Sunday the federal minister stated that with the efforts of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto the charter of democracy was constituted however the Punjab government has been opposing the charter since the very first day.
Kaira said that the mandate of the masses were not assumed however Shaheed Benazir Bhutto rooted out the politics of acrimony and gave the ideology of reconciliation and transferred it to the common workers, he added.
He said Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto root out the politics of hatred and promoted the politics of reconciliation. He said that hatred has been rapidly arising but it requires enough time to eliminate it.
He said the PPP always curbed the politics of hatred and supported the politics of reconciliation.
Qamar Zaman Kaira said that the PPP lawmakers are sitting in Balochistan assembly with the lawmakers with whom they had bitterness.
