Summary State Department spokesman Mark Toner has said that US favours religious freedom in the world.

 

During a media briefing in Washington, State Department spokesman Mark Toner said that the US wants religious freedom all over the world.

 

Replying a question, he said that he was unaware of the incident of demolition of a Hindu temple in Karachi.

 

He also said that the US is working on to remove Taliban page from Facebook. State Department spokesman further said that US is concerned over the incidents of violence in Egypt. To a question regarding Syria, he said that change in Syria through the democratic process will be beneficial for the people of that country.
