Summary Seven people were killed in separate incidents of firing and violence in Karachi on Tuesday.
KARACHI: Target killing and violence continued to take the innocent lives in the city.
A printing press worker Rizwan was shot dead by unknown miscreants in Nazimabad while a labourer was killed in firing near Banaras Bridge.
A man namely siddique was injured in firing at MA Jinnah road. He was shifted to Civil Hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
A youth was stabbed to death in a rival groups’ clash in Gulshan-e-Maymar area while a man namely Arshad was shot dead by robbers in Qayumabad area.
Meanwhile, a dead body of a woman Zuhra was found from Pipri area while five people were injured in a cracker attack in Site Metrowell area.
Moreover, Special Investigation Police, East, arrested two alleged target killers during a raid in Muslimabad and recovered weapons from their possession.
According to police, the accused were involved in the killing of ten people including two police officials and five political workers.
The citizens say that the law enforcement agencies have failed to restore peace in the city despite the tall claims.
