Summary The 21st Pak-US Defence Consultative Group meeting has commenced in Islamabad on Monday.
ISLAMABAD: The 21st Pak-US Defence Consultative Group (DCG) at the Ministry of Defence on Monday would review defence cooperation between the two countries.
Twenty five-member US delegation is being led by Under Secretary of Defence for Policy USA Dr James Miller alongside Richard Olson US Ambassador to Pakistan. The two dignities called on Secretary Defence, Lt. Gen (r) Asif Yasin Malik here in his office before the formal meeting.
The two-day sessions will review defence cooperation between the two countries and progress on previous DCG meetings. The meeting will focus on regional security environment and challenges faced alongside Pak-Afghan border.
The delegation will wrap up meeting on 4th December and finalize a schedule for future meetings before departing for USA.
