Summary PML-N demands strict action against elements involved in Karachi violence.
In a statement issued here Sunday, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif
said that the the increasing incidents of bloodshed in Karachi had shocked and perturbed teh entire nation .
He said although all political parties elected from Karachi are a part of federal and provincial governments yet they have completely failed to maintain peace in Karachi.
Nawaz Sharif demanded the federal government to utilize its full force and resources to crush those playing with the lives of innocent people in Karachi and restore a peaceful and safe environment in the city.
Nawaz Sharif said that it is responsibility of all of us to save the city of lights from killings and lawlessness. He also appealed to all political parties, religious organizations, Ulema, intellectuals, media and civil society to play their due role for restoring peace in Karachi.
He also prayed for the departed souls of those innocent people who lost their lives in the recent incidents in Karachi and expressed his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved families.
