Summary A delegation of High Peace Council of Afghanistan led by Salahuddin Rabbani will visit Islamabad.
Salahuddin Rabbani was invited by Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar to visit Pakistan to hold talks with the relevant authorities with regard to peace and reconciliation process in Afghanistan.
During his visit Mr. Rabbani will call on the President Asif Ali Zardari and the Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, hold formal talks with Foreign Minister and meet the military leadership of the country.
It is pertinent to mention here that Salahuddin Rabbani is the son of Burhanuddin Rabbani who have been killed in an attack in Kabul.
