Summary UK ex-PM Gordon Brown said every child in Pakistan would be properly educated for better future.

President Asif Ali Zardari said that education is the only tool by which extremism may be competed.UN special envoy for global education called on President Asif Ali Zardari in Islamabad on Friday and discussed different measures for enhancing literacy rate in Pakistan.While addressing an inaugural ceremony of Waseel e Haq Education arranged by Benazir Income Support Programme, Gordon Brown and said that he would continue his support in this regard.Gordon Brown also paid tribute to Mala Yousafzai who is being treated in UK after being severely injured.The President said that democratic government is giving top priority to the female education.The president while terming Gordon Brown as his friend said that reasonable solution to social, political and economic issues may be traced by following the vision of slain Benair Bhutto. During this, a documentary film was also shown.The ceremony also prayed for eternal peace of Shaheed Bibi.BISP chairman also addressed the ceremony and termed it the greatest programe of social sector.
