Summary The LHC on Tuesday was moved to restrict PM from approving the upcoming budget.

Justice Umar Ata Bandial of Lahore of Lahore High Court conducted the hearing of the petition on Tuesday.The petitioner’s counsel AK Dogar took the stance before the court that that Yusuf Raza Gilani could not approve the budget after conviction on April 26, in the contempt of court case.He also stated that under the constitution, a convicted member of parliament could not approve budget of the county as this situation will create new constitutional crisis.Justice Umar Ata said as the matter is sensitive the bench will request to the Lahore Chief Justice to form a larger bench to hear the petition.The court also directed to combine all the writ petitions filed in LHC against the prime minister.
