Summary The NFC meeting will be held on May 14 to review increase in government servants salaries.
The National Finance Commission (NFC) meeting will review three options for increase in salaries of government servants which will be attended of finance ministers from all the four provinces.The first option is an increase of 25 percent in the salaries, second option is 30 percent and the third option is 35 percent.The sources informed that the meeting will also review a suggestion to merge the ad hoc relief given in 2010 and 2011 in the basic pays of government servants. The government servants were given 50 percent ad hoc relief in 2010 and 15 percent in 2011.
