Karachi: Several held in Rangers operation in Mangupir

Rangers launched the targeted operation in Mangupir area on the revelations by Tehrik-e-Taliban activists who were arrested two days ago from Baldia Town. The sources claimed that the arrested suspects also belong to Tehrik-e-Taliban.On the other hand, two people were wounded in two different firing incidents in Korangi while a policeman was injured in firing incident in Gulistan-e-Johar.Meanwhile, Interior Minister Rehman Malik telephoned Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah. Both the leaders discussed law and order situation in Karachi.Rehman Malik said the life and property of the people of Lyari will be protected at all costs. He said that targeted killing in Karachi ended after the arrest of serial killers.
