Summary Notification for appointment of Zafer Abbas as FIA DG has been stopped.
According to sources, the notification for appointment of Zafer Abbas as Director General Federal Investigation Agency has been stopped.He would continue to perform his duty as acting Secretary Anti Narcotics Force.Now, Javed Iqbal would remain active in the office of Director General FIA.Division sources are of the view that implementation on notification has not been cancelled; rather there is only delay in this regard.Establishment Division had issued notification of Zafer Abbas as FIA Director General.
