Twin cities receive rain, windstorm

Islamabad and Rawalpindi received rainfall and windstorm Friday night which bought the temperatures down.The increase in the temperature over the past few days had increased the miseries of the people including water shortage and loadshedding.Thunderstorms and rain mitigated the summer heat to some extent. The residents of the twin cities enjoyed the weather and visited local picnic spots.Weather has been quite unpredictable this summer season, marked with hide-and-seek on between clouds and the sun.This unpredictability can be fairly termed as a climatic change caused by the phenomenon of Global Warming, which is affecting weather conditions all around the planet earth.Summers usually have severity starting from the month of May each year, but this time the graph of temperature of the twin cities specifically shows a considerable rise and fall.According to Met office rain and thunderstorms are expected at scattered places of upper parts of the country in next three days.
