Summary Met office has predicted rain and thunderstorm at scattered places of upper parts of the country.
A fresh westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and likely to persist for next two to three days.Islamabad and Rawalpindi received rain during night between Thursday and Friday which turned the weather pleasant.Met office has predicted rain and thunderstorm at scattered places of upper and central Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu divisions. Rain and thunderstorm is also expected in Punjab including Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur divisions, Sukkar and Larkana divisions in Sindh, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan and Northeast Balochistan.
