Karachi: FC deployed around Lyari

According to sources, more than 350 FC officials have been deployed on entry and exit points in Lyari including Baghdadi, Napier, Kalakot Gardens, Mitha Dar, Khara Dar.The FC officials will also take part in the targeted operation along with police while the FC personnel have also been deployed on the rooftops of some high buildings in the area.Police have also arrested three members of banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) on charges of providing arms to Lyari gang members and recovered a rocket launcher, nine rockets and 530 bullets from their possession.Meanwhile, some unidentified persons opened fire in Gulshan Iqbal and killed two people. The dead were identified as Muhammad Ali and Jahangir. Two other people, Amjad and Sarfaraz, sustained injuries in the firing.
