Summary LHC has postponed hearing of case filed to stop Prime Minister from rendering services till May 11.

When chief justice Lahore High Court Sheikh Azmat Sheikh started hearing of the case, the petitioner’s counsel, AK Dogar said that Yousaf Raza Gilani could not enjoy his office after being declared convicted. According to law and the constitution, he also has become incompetent. The petition further said that common man abides by the law of the land but heads of institutions do not care for the decisions taken by the courts. It is worth mentioning that that court had called a Deputy Attorney General but four Deputy Attorney Generals appeared in the court.Rather than submitting their reply, they requested the court to grant them more time. The court accepted their plea for hearing adjourned court for May 11.
