While stopping the police operation in Lyari, the Interior Minister Rehman Malik had given 48 hours to the accused of Lyari gang war to surrender. The deadline has been passed but no one offered himself for arrest.On the other hand, the government failed in formulating a strategy to deal with new situation and not decision has been made in this regard. Police have been unsure about Lyari operation in Karachi while the residents are also facing hardships.
