The judicial Commission meeting was called by Chief Justice iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry to consider the appointment of Justice (retd) Ghulam Rabbani and Justice (retd) MA Shahid Siddiqui as the ad hoc judges.The Judicial Commission will likely recommend the name of senior judge of the Lahore High Court, Justice Umar Atta Bandial, for elevation to the Supreme Court.Meanwhile, the lawyers’ organizations are against the appointment of ad hoc judges.
