Summary PPP has submitted requisition in Punjab Assembly in favour of South Punjab as a separate province.
The PML-Q and the PPP have also moved many requisitions before this but those could not be entertained.After passing resolution from the National Assembly regarding formation of new province in the South of Punjab, the PPP submitted a requisition in the Punjab Assembly on Saturday.It has been emphasized in the requisition that the Punjab Assembly should also pass a resolution for formation of new province in the south of Punjab as the National Assembly has taken step in this regard.In the resolution, the Prime Minster and coalition parties also have been congratulated on passage of resolution from the National Assembly.
