Summary PM Gilani has said that the PPP government will give identity to people in South Punjab.
Speaking to a delegation of parliamentarians hailing from Southern Punjab who called on him at the Prime Minister’s House, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said that the Pakistan People’s Party will give identity to the masses in South Punjab.He said the government introduced FCR reforms in FATA and also gave new identity to Khyber Paktunkhwa and Gilgit Batistan.He said that the PPP was in favour of South Punjab province for which it had endeavoured to create consensus and the adoption of the resolution in the National Assembly was the manifestation to that effect.
