Summary Sindh IG Mushtaq Shah said that about seven miscreants have been killed during Lyari operation.
More than 20 accused have also been arrested along with sophisticated weapons, he said.While addressing a press conference along with Additional Chief Secretary for Interior Sohail Baloch, Mushtaq Shah said that timeframe of end of Lyari operation could not be announced.Criminals are using sophisticated and latest weapons. About seven miscreants have been killed while more than 20 have been arrested, he said. He said that Hassan alias Kalia is one of arrested one who has been reportedly involved in more than 55 criminal bids.Furthering his statement, the IG said that a rocket launcher, 3 MLG, 26 Kalashnikovs, 199 pistols and about 3000 bullets also have been recovered from them.He also said that four policemen also have fallen victims to the brutalities of miscreants.Important sites are under the control of security forces, he claimed.
