Summary PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif has announced to launch movement if PM Gilani does not resign.
Talking to media after the meeting of PML-N Central Working Committee in Islamabad, Nawaz Sharif said that PML-N has decided to launch a protest movement inside and outside the House until Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani steps down as Prime Minister.He also announced to start long march to pressurise PM Gilani to resign.Nawaz said that the present government has wreaked havoc with the destiny of the nation. Hesaid he thought the country would be put on the path of development and progress but the present government disappointed me and the whole nation due to its failed policies.He said if a peon is sentenced by any court, he is dismissed from his job but the convicted prime minister continues to resume his office that is a big joke with the nation.Nawaz said PML-N wants rule of law in the country while the Zardari government has never accepted the rule of law. He said the government always ridicules the decision of the judiciary but PML-N will continue to struggle for the rule of law.He said that the PM should immediately quit otherwise the government would face protest movement and long march.Nawaz Sharif invited all opposition parties and the masses to join hands for the supremacy of law.Earlier, chairing the meeting of PML-N Central Working Committee in Islamabad, Nawaz Sharif said Musharaf disappointed him and the nation when he attacked the judiciary now the present government has repeated the same story by rejecting the court decision.He said those who were denying to write to the Swiss authorities should answer that who shifted the money belonging to the nation to the Swiss banks.Nawaz said PML-N has been facing taunts of a friendly opposition for the sake of strengthening democratic process in the country but the present government has always violated constitution and norms of democracy.
