Adjourning the hearing till May 3, Supreme Court Monday held its verdict in the contempt case against Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani for not implementing the court order on NRO regarding writing to Swiss government for opening graft cases against President Asif Ali Zardari, Geo News reported.The seven-member bench of the Supreme Court (SC) resumed hearing of the NRO implementation case on Monday.The bench comprising Justice Nasirul Mulk, Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa, Justice Sarmad Jalal Osmani, Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, Justice Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry, Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Athar Saeed is hearing the case.During the course of the hearing, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) told the court that Prime Minister was not aware of the fact that Adnan Khwaja was a convict when he was appointed as OGDCL chief.After hearing the arguments of all the parties, the court expressed dissatisfaction over the NAB report adjourning the hearing till May 3.Earlier, PM Gilani’s counsel Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan had requested the court to defer its verdict as his arguments were not complete, however, the court rejected his request.‘The verdict will be announced today,’ Justice Nasirul Mulk had insisted.
