Summary Complying with SC orders, Hussain Haqqani has allowed access to his BlackBerry data.

Hussain Haqqani, the former ambassador to the US, has written to the BlackBerry company to release records of his conversations with Mansoor Ijaz, an American businessman at the heart of the memo scandal. However, the company may now be technically unable to provide the data since it is learnt that the data is stored only for three months, while more time has lapsed since the outbreak of the scandal.Haqqani signed the No Objection Certificate (NOC) which states that he will not have any objections to issuing the details regarding his BlackBerry conversations with Mansoor Ijaz, said a report. The Supreme Court had earlier ordered both Haqqani and Ijaz to sign the NOC.Ijaz complied with the SC’s orders and provided his consent in this regard. The SC has also asked Haqqani to be present in the next hearing of the memo commission on April 12, though it is learnt Haqqani may not be attending the hearing citing health concerns.Haqqani already has submitted a petition to the memo commission to delay the hearing of the case.
