Milk prices shoot up to Rs 70 per litre in Karachi

During a meeting chaired by Commissioner Karachi, milk price has been settled at Rs 70 per litre with an increase of Rs 10 per liter. New price will be affective from April to June.Earlier, the city government had set the retail price of milk at Rs 60 per litre but the milk was being sold at Rs 66 per litre. After the fresh hike in milk price, the consumers’ price has reached Rs 70 per litre.
