Summary Shortfall of electricity has reached 4700 megawatt in the country.
According to PEPCO spokesman, total power generation has reached to 10, 280 megawatts however the demand is 14, 980 megawatts.IPPs are generating 5800 megawatts and thermal plants are providing 1800 megawatts of electricity. However, the hydel power generation has restrained to 2600 megawatts.
