Summary Electricity loadshedding in Jinnah hospital of Lahore has been challenged in Supreme Court.
Chief Executive of Jinnah hospital Doctor Javed Akram have stated in a writ that Jinnah hospital should be exempted from load shedding. He lamented that several operations are postponed due to the unscheduled power outages.Referring to the recent incident, He wrote that power outages also pushed a girl into coma as electricity went off during the operation.The Chief Executive also mentioned that the admin has written to PEPCO and LESCO many times to exempt the hospital from load shedding but no response has been received so far.
